A pivotal moment occurred in a childhood backyard, observing genuine regenerative practices and circular economy principles at work, particularly around a thriving compost system. This experience, coupled with an immersive study of the monarch butterfly – a potent symbol of transformation and interdependence – solidified a lifelong commitment to ecological stewardship.
Recognizing escalating environmental disparities, the critical question "If not me, then who?", "Will this happen soon enough?", and "What happens if I don't, would that outcome be acceptable?" became the catalyst for establishing Monarch Legacy Project. MLP, a multi-faceted conservational ecosystem support initiative and business, has been privately funded since 2021, and we're now publicly driving our mission.
Our core work focuses on empowering private, public, governmental, and professional land owners and managers to reintegrate generational, ethical land practices responsibly. A key area of innovation is our dedication to developing new, non-toxic, and highly reliable pest control methods that prevent harmful run-off, ensuring the safety of our children, communities, pets, and the environment. MLP is committed to proactive solutions for a sustainable legacy.
